Health Resources in Action is a national non-profit with a mission to help people live healthier lives and create healthy communities through prevention, health promotion, policy, and research. With a growing staff of around 250 professionals, HRiA has expertise in developing, implementing, and evaluating solutions for clients who share a vision of improving health and reducing health inequities.
The Biomedical Research division at HRiA works with foundations, bank trusts, and other partners to understand their goals and values and to direct funds to spur catalytic changes in in the research ecosystem and accelerate medical discoveries. With over sixty years of experience in grant making strategy, we ensure that our clients and partners can see and measure the impact of their investments. Our services include landscape research, strategic planning, funding program design, program management, program evaluation, and research capacity building including planning and facilitation of scientific convenings, science communication trainings, and mentorship programs.
