SPARC works alongside philanthropic partners to develop programs that transform medical research systems. We manage the complete grant cycle, starting from developing and distributing funding announcements, managing peer reviews, creating Scientific Advisory Boards (SABs) and grant agreement execution and funds disbursement. SPARC currently oversees four grant programs, with direct funding responsibility for two initiatives: the ALS Breakthrough Research Fund and the Transformative Computational Biology Grant Program.
