    Dear Colleagues,

Has anyone developed internal policies related to uploading proposals into ChatGPT (or other AI tools) for the purpose of generating summaries for internal use? If so, would you be willing to share them? We’re especially interested in understanding the considerations that informed your approach—for example, how you addressed issues of confidentiality, data sensitivity, appropriate use, and oversight. We are aware about HRA members’ policies about grant applicant’s use of AI (here https://www.healthra.org/forums/topic/policy-for-ai-use-in-grant-applications/) and wonder about internal policies for staff use of these tools and grant applications.

    Thank you,

We do have a few related policies. Happy to chat about them. In a nutshell we’ve chosen to purchase a product that is self contained as it relates specifically to our content. Meaning none of our content is shared back to the provider for broader learning and
    use.

Patricia, I am curious in what product you purchased. Can you share?

At Additional Ventures, we have a ChatGPT Business Workspace plan through OpenAI – this keeps all our data private and completely separate from their larger training model.
