AFAR works with David Lubitz from Schaner and Lubitz https://www.schanerlaw.com/attorneys/david-lubitz/ and I highly recommend him. I think several other HRA members may work with him as well. A couple of years ago I sent out a similar request to the HRA community and he was recommended by several HRA members, so that is how we found him!
David is very responsive and is a pleasure to work with. He has helped us navigate through some complicated contract negotiations and has been very helpful in providing suggestions for our grant agreements and more.
Best,
Odette

https://btlaw.com/en/people/paula-goedert
Paula is exceptionally engaging while making presentations to board members and she makes legal issues simple for non-lawyers who are trying to understand the situation. Additionally, she’s a fierce advocate for non-profits, associations, and Foundations. I have worked at several organizations that have used her services, and the AASM has been a client for a while.

While we haven’t faced an issue similar to LBDA, Robert S. Ryland ([email protected]) would be your best contact as he has the most knowledge in this area. We have also used Gibson Dunn for government contract questions, DJ Manthripragada ([email protected]) is fantastic.Help discover cures to breast cancer, faster.
