Nonprofit Funder-Research Institution (NFRI) Partnership Workshop

The Health Research Alliance (HRA)  and Council on Governmental Relations (COGR) invite you to participate in a day-long workshop of the Nonprofit Funder-Research Institution (NFRI) Partnership on September 24, 2019. The workshop is the fourth in-person meeting of this partnership, and will facilitate ongoing discussions and efforts around three key elements of foundation-institution relations: (1) Streamlining administrative requirements; (2) Indirect costs/research project support costs; and (3) Intellectual property and tech transfer issues. The location of the workshop is the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Building, located at 1200 New York Ave, Washington, DC 20005 (also home to COGR). AAAS headquarters are one block from the Washington metro’s Metro Center station, which services the red, orange, blue and silver lines, and a 10-15 minute walk from Gallery Place (serving the yellow and green metro lines). We recommend that you make your hotel reservations early as this area books up quickly.
